I read her words, so Funny!
She said she wanted to be a Bee
“And you?” was her question to me
Got me thinking what will I be
If I could be anything I wanted to be
It was such a simple activity
but I was feeling lighter already
I was happy about this imaginary
innocent little possibility

Not so long ago, when life was kinder to me
I would’ve said “a bird”, so I could fly free
Be wherever in the world I wanted to be
Summers on mountains, Winters at sea
Race with a cloud or dance with a tree
A nest on a beautiful branch or be a gypsy
I could see every forest of every country
I could do anything, choices will be many
So a bird I will be

But sometimes now, life doesn’t seem so Easy
So many wrong choices that bruised on my knee
Weary, don’t know if I want to make the  journey
So Today if you ask me, what would I want to be
I will tell you that I want to be a tree probably
Cherry blossom, Glorious, strong and pretty
Free from freedom and its responsibility
Free from choices, a prisoner of destiny
And what will be, will be

But if I am being honest really
I don’t want to be a bird or a tree
But A little bit of both actually
While I am still me.
