Easy child easy, don’t bite off more than you can chew
Would you have gambled your heart even if you knew
That you will lose that hand to destiny’s plan
And you will lose everything else trying to win it again
It’s a gamble of love, lives and souls are at stake here
And destiny is a crafty and ruthless gambler, my dear
With every hand that you lose in this game, you bleed your heart
After a while, you have bled too much to make another fresh start
Listen to me child, spend your heart and soul ever so wisely from here
It is the only currency accepted in this gamble and absolute depletion is near
Don’t lose it all in numerous simple pursuits only to stand by and watch with rue
As destiny deals you a winning hand but you have nothing more left to lose

Interesting, if a bit pessimistic. 🙂
Some minor corrections:
Listen to me child, Spend your soul … — you probably want to lowercase that ‘S’
It is the only currency excepted in this gamble … — I think you mean ‘accepted’
Keep on writing!
