You have a beautiful heart
And you let me in.
No, doubt it was very generous of you,
But I can’t stay unless you let me own it.
I need to own all of it, all the rooms and all the walls,
All the closets and all the skeletons in them,
And every beat of your heart.
I will give you every beat of my heart in return.
I seek ownership, not Just good hospitality.
So, all that you have done, thank you for that,
Thank you for your hospitality,
But I have to leave, my dear.
I was never looking for a shelter,
I am not afraid of walking in the cold,
I am in search of a home.
