Scarring The Pages

When the darkness fills my heart

With my blood, it blends, runs in my veins
And through my finger tips, it drips,
The ink I write my melancholy songs with
Scarring the pages with my scars,
And in those pages, I can see

Synchronized To The Drum Beat

Thoughts, dreams
And all things innate

Synchronized to
The drum beat

Plastic dolls marching
In a street parade.

Do gooders, revolutionaries,
Free thinkers,
 all aligned
To form their respective lines.

Self Worth – How Not to Measure It

Girl Before A Mirror by Pablo Picasso

I have recently come to realize something about self-worth and after reading many posts, Articles and feedback from different people, I realized one more thing, “how important it is to share the thing I realized with the world”.

As it appears there is something really wrong about how people measure their self-worth, me being one of them not so long ago. So, I share with you the ways in which you should definitely NOT measure it :

Dynamic Equilibrium Of Life

For whoever finds it.

That are keeping it from becoming better.
Change will not come from a revolutionary leader
Who wants to make the world as he is.
Change will not come from
A place of power or influence.
It will come from the masses.

Old Scars

She traces her scars every night in the dark,
And picks on the scabs from the wounds of her heart,
She likes the pain she says.
She wears her old scars like tattoos of tales,
Says she would rather be a melancholy song,
A twisted story, a poignant poetry

The Sorceress

She casts a spell with her heady scent,
leaves you lingering on words wondering what she meant.
Beautiful scars on a delicate frame,
But far from something you can claim or tame.
She is madness wrapped in gorgeous flesh,
Sorcery swirls at the hem of her dress.
