When the darkness fills my heart
With my blood, it blends, runs in my veins
And through my finger tips, it drips,
The ink I write my melancholy songs with
Scarring the pages with my scars,
And in those pages, I can see
The darkest corners of me
That the mirrors failed to reflect,
And in that moment I know
Where exactly to light the candles
In order to let the darkness go.

Very good! I think there’s a bit of darkness in all of us to be released (in a non-harmful way). 🙂
