Like life, like a knife
Like air, like water,
Like snow, Like fire, like time,
I am not good neither bad,
I am just what I am.
I could be loved or hated,
Welcomed or fought,
It’s all ok with me,
It’s all the same.
I am not your friend
Neither you are my enemy,
I am just what I am
And I go where I go
And I take the world where I go.
You can sit on my shoulders
Or follow me with a frown
Or be dragged behind me
Or lay down in my path
And try to make me stop
But I promise you this
I never stop.
I am the train you ride
Filled with excitement and hope
Imagining the possibilities of a new journey
Or with tears of separation and fears of unknown,
Or I am the train you miss
Or sometimes even die underneath.
It all depends on you,
On where you place yourself with me.
I am not ruthless or kind
I am just me, just what I am,
I stop for nobody,
I carry the world with me.
I am change, you see!

Awesome! Especially the revelation at the end 🙂
One thing is true
What you can’t do
Is ignore, escape
Or get rid of Me
Wise is to learn to
Lovingly live with me

Beautiful imagination. The metaphors are really commendable. On another note, I’d like to say that I really really enjoy the train rides. The journey is such a fulfiling experience.
Here’s my take on imagination. Would love it if you take a read. Not really about a train, rather u may say, it’s a train of thoughts, my imagination through the girl’s (in the poem) imagination. 🙂 🙂 🙂

I would happily ride this train, for we don not know what it will bring or where it will take us, but that is life, isn’t it? Xx

True! That is life. Life and change are so finely interwoven that it’s impossible to talk about one distinctly.
I am trying to ride the train Happily. 🙂
