You exist, and if you exist, you deserve to exist.
And I don’t mean it as a cosmic, divine idea, while it might also be that, but It’s also plain logic first. Look at it like this, if you win a contest, you deserve the prise; if you win a lottery, you deserve the money; so if as a sperm you won the race of life, you deserve to exist. Simple as that.
Hi Dear Readers (Or what’s left of my readers due to my inconsistency lately),
Wherever you all are in this world, whether you are reading this or not, I am sending you all my love, warm wishes and good thoughts and I hope that they reach you and give you a moment of joy and make you feel loved and valued…because you really are.
Now, for those of you who are reading it, I will need your help in this. All my love, my warm wishes and all my good thoughts can’t really reach you if you don’t answer the door to receive it. In the last paragraph, I will tell you how you can help, but first I have to make sure that you know that there really is love at your doorstep.
Thank you! Thank You to all one thousand and one of you!
I have decided to go on an emotional detox. Which means that for the coming days (Let’s see how many) As much as I can, I will only think, speak or write positive things, only watch positive videos or movies, only read positive books and treat myself well. I will remind myself to be grateful for the things I have and focus on the things that I want in life. The most difficult part of the detox and the most important one will be making a conscious and continuous effort to only feel positive emotions. Any time I encounter a negative emotion, I will do my best to walk away from it and shift my thoughts and eventually my emotions towards a positive direction. I will do things that make me happy and maybe once in a while even pamper myself. How is that for authentic? 😉
After studying the work of many experts this is what I understand, If you can’t control your emotional state then there’s a good chance you are addicted to it.
Emotional addiction works exactly like any substance addiction. It starts with a rewarding stimulus. Initially, in a difficult situation, you cried or got stressed or felt sad, either someone comforted you or you just felt a rush. Sadness is an easily accessible strong emotion compared to a positive strong emotion like intense Joy, exhilaration or a strong dose of happiness. It’s as if for us humans, feeling something strong is always better than feeling nothing or feeling something average. Continue reading “Emotional Addiction & How To Break Free”
Greatness simmers in my blood and then goes away. There are moments of clarity when I see things clearly and then everything becomes out of focus, messy. There are flashes of profound awareness and then vague cluelessness returns. An uncontrolable drive, a passion flickers and then dissapears.
