True Stories Of Love

Hi Dear Readers,

It has been a while, and in that while, I have reached a place in life where I feel I belong. I would like to point out that this feeling is not so much about the place or time or even the people and events that surround me but simply about feeling like I belong because I just do. It’s about the belief that I am right where I am supposed to be, and I am right in being me. It’s about trusting your self and the universe, or your higher self, destiny,  God, collective consciousness or whatever else you prefer to call it.

Died Not Dead

How does an ocean of love
Evaporate
And leave behind a desert?
Those precious nights, those pure moments
When two souls collided in love
A mesmerizing explosion, a supernova
How can they leave behind nothing but a vacuum,
A black hole in your chest?

When I Swallowed The Warm Yellow Pill

6f4431b3ff9a2e0d742fcfa2dcb1fbb8--sun-light-love-and-light

I swallowed a warm yellow pill today,

It went down my aching sore throat,

Like a soup made of warm love,

Soothing, caressing, easing the pain.

It filled my chest with the sun shine,

Clearing the cold cobwebs of winters,

Walking Through The Fog

DSC_0033_small

When the fog is so thick,
That it blinds you,
And you can’t see the path ahead,
Walk forward anyway.
It’s just gloom, not a Gate that blocks your way,
And what else is there to do
but walk?

For The Sun To Shine Again

14fa85aa85b2dfcb6be44037e0a90480

We wish for the clouds to part,
And the sun to come out and warm the heart,
But a perfect sunny day never comes like that.
Gentle parting of the clouds gives luminescence of hope,
But not the illuminating fresh start.

My Story On The Secret Website

57668473-1a9f-47e5-a7cf-7343fd73138c

We have all tried to understand the effect of positive thinking and law of attraction since the movie “The Secret” came out. Over a period of time, I have developed my own understanding of it. Nine months ago, while I was traveling through Rajasthan, I was sitting on the window of an old fort in Udaipur, looking at an aerial view of the valley and the little houses there, contemplating my approach to life. The sun started to set and I felt a calm sweep over me as I looked at the crimson sky,  I realised a couple of things that day. Continue reading “My Story On The Secret Website”

There Is Hope

img_1327

It is messy, too messy a fight

The process of getting from wrong to right

The ruination of what is, for the inception of something better

And even then it is a game of trial and error

Ocean Sun Set

Have you ever seen the sun setting in to an ocean,

Have you ever really stoped and looked at it ?

The yellow, orange, pink and purple of the sky

Blending in to the glimmering blue of ocean.
