I see people scowling and screaming
Raging and waging war on others,
Angry at each other or something else
But most of all angry at themselves.
They need to win a fight, any fight.
With whom, for what, it doesn’t matter,
It’s not about wrong or right,
It’s about the fight,
A way to take the anger out,
The anger that’s burning them inside,
The anger at nothing and everything.

A Snowy Day

Little pieces of clouds
Falling from the sky
Covering all I see In a
white blanket of snow.

As I see from the window
The valley turns white
Like a blank canvas,
The world a blank page.

A Little Too Late

He set fire to her heart,
And then he fell asleep, it was late in the night.

As it burned and she suffered in agony,
She heard him snore,
Next day he went about his day,
There was work, he had to go away.
