I wanted to be everywhere there was to be
Before the time runs out.
One day I will end up in the ground

Some shells from the beaches of Hikkaduwa
Wrapped in a piece of paper
The stain of butter on my blue dress
From Galle fort when I had the crab platter
And the memory of a dream

One Beautiful Night

I held him and he held me, laughing and carefree,
Standing against the soaring waves, afraid of nothing.
We kissed under the blue sky, in middle of an ocean,
On a vacation from life, Somewhere outside of time.
